Just thought I’d do a quick blog post about my recent pony craze with My Little Pony. I’ve been shopping around for some cute plushies (uh-oh~) and was quite surprised at how valuable and expensive a lot of these pony plushies are. I’m talking about the handcrafted ones, not the mass produced ones. And the level of detail is impeccable! Take a look for yourself – these are just a few I quickly pulled from Deviant Art.

And the price of these ponies are at least $250USD and above. Believe it or not, $250USD is actually pretty cheap in the world of pony plushies! Take a look at this Rainbow Dash dressed in her Galloping Gala dress by Babylondonstar –
It is only 10 inches tall, but it sold for a whopping $2,275 USD on Ebay!!!!!!!! Don’t believe me? You can see the original listing here.
OMG! *.* And I thought Rilakkumas were expensive!!!!!!!
Anyway, so I forked out a large sum of money to Masha to custom make my OC MJ pony –

I think she did a great job with her ponies, and she charged a reasonable price… so I decided to go with her 😀 fingers crossed my pony will turn out beautiful! XD I asked for my pony to be about 16 inches by 18 inches, so she’ll be pretty big.

Wow they’re very expensive. I saw Pinkie Pie at Build-A-Bear of course she’s the most money lol I never knew they were so popular since they remade the show, so much cuter!

Omg, these ponies are beautiful but the price is what’s holding me back. The detailing is amazing though, these are definitely created by true artists.
The chibi ones are sooooooo adorable! I’m super tempted to get one!!! Mary, what are you doing to my wallet!? T_______T 😉

Yes! i know! They are sooo popular! XD. Can’t believe it! I wish I could sew, then I could make ponies and sell them as a hobby/business instead of being a stressed out overworked doctor! XD
