As I’ve mentioned in my last post about him, I asked Lavim to make a few tweaks (change the colour of his fringe at the front to mango minky and add the dark brown stripe to his stetson hat) and I am so pleased with the end result! He’s absolutely perfect now! :3 (and did I mention this is Lavim’s FIRST stallion ever?!)
Ok – enough crazy fangirl squealing and gushing, onto the specifics!
Braeburn is HUGE! He stands ~ 19″ tall including his hat (and ~ 18″ without):

And his hat and clothes are completely removable! :3 (I always ask for removable outfits when possible, and I’m happy to even pay extra for them if necessary. However, the truth is, I don’t ever take the clothes/accessories off anyway! So actually – I’m not sure why I do that XD Maybe I just like having the option to take them off)

He’s made completely from buttery soft minky fabric with beautifully precise embroidered details. I love those eye highlights! I know Braeburn doesn’t have them in the cartoon (he just has a green colour gradient) but I reckon they brighten his eyes up a lot!
And he’s stuffed just right! He’s not too soft that he wrinkles unsightfully, and not too firm that he becomes un-cuddly. The stuffing is pretty lightweight and very uniform with no visible nor palpable lumps/bumps. I also love how she stuffed his mane to add volume to his fringe (so they don’t look flat and lifeless on his head).

This reminds me – I have a pretty lengthy pony plushie wishlist and I’ve managed to narrow it down to three ponies for next month (well, it’s actually four because if I get Princess Cadance #2 I’ll also be getting Shining Armour #2 from the same artist). I want to narrow it down further so please help me decide! You can vote here:

HAHAHHA! Yea >.< I know! it's not actually a 'happy wow' gif, but I felt it captured the 'in awe' look that I wanted to express XD
I know Lion King is so sad. The other day was watching Kung Fu Panda 2 (have you seen it?), and the part where Poh remembers when his mother got killed was so sad :<
Um – YEA I KNOW, fluttershy's winning so badly! but I really like the other 2 too! :<

OMGGG Kung Fu Panda 2 is so incredibly sad!!! I really wasn’t expecting it since the firts movie was pretty lighthearted. Ahhh that scene is like an arrow straight to the heart.

I’m sure you can find good deals on all 3 your the master he he. I know lol I was just teasing. I remember not being able to watch that movie with out crying when I was a kid.
Oh yes I love Kung Fu Panda 2…it was sad…and more sad movies the beginning of Up 😦 why Disney! Why!?!

LOL! I wish I could commission all 3! But I’ve spent so much $$$$ T-T so I have to leave others for later 😀 I will eventually commission them – but just not so soon! I’m also thinking of putting some ponies up for adoption – because I’m running out of space.. but I’m still not 100% on that yet.

Yea! So sad! :< and thank you hehe! I love animated films! They are usually deep and meaningful and have extremely touching scenes! Have you seen UP? My most fav film EVA! 🙂

LOL that Lion King pic! After reading the comments I guess it wasn’t from a happy moment, but its been so long since I’ve seen it,I couldn’t remember the scene, so the pic completely made me laugh =X annnyways, look at that handsome stallion! His color is so cute, and the eyes really look great! So happy he turned out perfect for you ^^

Thanks Angel! I KNOW! That lion king pic is making everyone sad :< was wondering whether I should replace it with another gif, but I'm having such a hard time finding a befitting gif! You know – that "in awe/shock" wide eyed look/mouth open, wind in the hair for dramatic effect, lighting etc :S and thank you for your kind words about Braeburn – I felt a bit bad asking Lavim to make those tweaks after she'd completed, but I'm happy I did because I reckon he looks better this way 😀
