I was pleasantly surprised this morning by the arrival of Mary-Joe (aka MJ Forever) OC pony! I assumed Lavim was going to ship her and Fashion Model Fluttershy together (who is still WIP) so I wasn’t expecting her today at all!
She was packed well and safely inside a large cardboard box (I should start doing unboxing pics again!) and when I excitedly and impatiently tore open the box, I witnessed the most beautiful and magical thing! Gosh – she looked amazing in the pre-shipment pictures, but she’s even more breathtaking in real life! Honestly! That’s the thing with these pony plushies – you can’t tell how amazing they are and how worthy they are of the high price tag until you ACTUALLY see/feel them in real life! Sure, some of the Chinese bootleg versions/plushies on Ebay might look “decent” in the photos – but wait until you see them in real life. They look/feel cheap and horrible – they can’t hold a candle to these custom pony plushies!
Anyway – without further ado, I present to you…. my precious Mary-Joe (aka MJ Forever) OC pony plushie!
And I love how Lavim’s ponies also look great from the back! They are never “balding” XD
Another thing I wanted to mention, Lavim actually went the extra mile and altered her snout pattern for this plushie so that it looks IDENTICAL to Mary-Joe’s snout in the picture I showed her. WOW! I genuinely expected her to just use her “default” snout pattern, but I’m so happy and impressed that she paid attention to these fine details (even right down to the shape/curvature of the smile!). Pure perfection!
And here’s a collage of her!!!!!! Hehe :3
Now for the specifics – Mary-Joe is made from high quality minky fabric (as usual, Lavim uses 1mm pile minky for the body and 3mm pile minky for the mane/tail) and her bow from satin fabric. Her details are precisely and beautifully machine embroidered. Extra brownie points to Lavim for doing such a great job on digitizing/translating my MJ Forever cutie mark into embroidery. Sizing wise, Mary-Joe is huge! She stands magnificently at ~ 16″ tall to her head, and 18″ tall to her unicorn horn! YAY! I LOVE BIG PONIES! She’s also stuffed perfectly and she feels just like a huge marshmallow! Hehe, I’ve just realised that her colours are so reminiscent of marshmallows! How sweet! (no pun intended ;))
Oh yea, this reminds me… my budget smartphone camera couldn’t capture her pinks properly! They are actually more of a warm/peachy shade 😛 I really need a new phone 😛 but I want to reserve all my extra $$$ for ponies so it might be a while before I get a new one (have been looking at HTC one :P).
Anyway, I absolutely LOVE this pony plushie! As usual, Lavim did an amazing job! That’s probably why this would be my 4th pony plushie from her (and definitely not the last! I still have Fashion Model Fluttershy WIP with her and definitely more if she’s still up for it!). With her amazing quality, huge plushie size and affordable pricing – Lavim’s easily one of my favourite artists 😀 and I’m so happy that I chose her to plushify Mary-Joe :D. I can’t wait to see Fashion Model Fluttershy (shouldn’t be too long now!)!

oh wow! thank you so much! This was an OC I designed/drew from start to finish, so I’m so happy you like her! I wanted her to be like a “valentine’s” pony and thus the colour scheme/design etc! 😀 I reckon she fits the bill perfectly 😉
