Hurray! Guess who arrived this morning! SUGARSTITCH’S PLUSHIES! I

You might faintly remember reading about me fangirling over my commissions with her, which were Baby Applejack and Winter Wrap-up Twilight!

Yep! That’s right! I welcomed 2 ponies this morning! YAY! And both are HUGE and CUDDLY! Even more YAY! (I just want to squeeze them all day long!!!! >.<) Anyway! Here they are!!!!  I’ll start with the diabetes-inducing BABY APPLEJACK!!!!

YAY! sugarstitch did such a perfect job on her forelock! A lot of plushie artists have difficulties with Twilight’s forelock! Either it’s “uplifted” and flailing all over the place or it’s sad, flat and droopy looking.

NOW for the specifics!!!!

Baby Applejack stands (or rather adorably sits) at about 13″ tall – so she’s a BIG BABY! She’s made from high quality “touch me all day, every day” minky with machine embroidered details, and her nappy and hair accessories are made of suedecloth. Her nappy is removable via press studs. Her stuffing is perfect :3 and she’s very soft and cuddly without any unsightly lumps/bumps. The workmanship is perfect – no loose threads or uneven stitching. This big cuddly baby has all my love! And she can have all my “apple fwitturs! ❤

I also just want to specially note that Sugarstitch had to develop a completely new sitting pattern for me, and she did such an amazing job! Her plushie making skills = mind blowing! And I recall reading (after extensive creepy stalking) that she’s a self-taught plush artist!

And now for Twilight’s specifics – man, this pony is HUUUUUUGGGGEEEEE! She stands approximately 17″ tall and she’s made completely from high quality “touch me all day, every day” minky with machine embroidered details. Her accessories are also made from minky :3 and they are extremely easy to take off/put back on (a feature I absolutely LOVE, extra brownie points for Sugarstitch for making them fit perfectly so they are extremely easy to put back on! I often have issues with accessories being too tight!). The stuffing, again, is perfect! Twilight is a huge cuddly purple marshmallow and I want to cuddle her all day long! Honestly, words (and even pictures) can’t capture how awesome she is in real life! COME VISIT ME AT MY PLACE SOME DAY AND I WILL SHOW YOU!

Sugarstitch was great to work with 😀 very friendly and approachable, and although the fabrics took a while to arrive (not her fault at all), she sped through her commissions rapidly like it’s nobody’s business. Her prices are also very reasonable and she’s so generous (FREE PINK PARASPRITE!). I can’t wait to commission her again!!!! 😀 (if I get a spot, that is!). She’s also super awesome with her Pokemon plushies! (it’s funny… but I’ve noticed that a lot of bronies are also Pokemon fans!)
