Here’s my second plushie – Pinkie Pie! I upgraded my basic sewing machine so now I’m able to satin stitch my applique details better :3 I’m really tempted to re-make Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie because I know there are a lot of changes and improvements to be made. However, I think I want to move onto the next main 6 pony (and then re-make all of them in the end :P). I also plan to make some background ponies for my collection so I’ll probably make them for myself later on too.
Details:
*Materials: cuddle 3 minky by Shannon Fabrics
*Minky colours: blush and fuchsia
*Stuffing: premium polyester fiberfill and white polar fleece and poly pellets in hooves
*Thread: gutermann polyester sew-all thread
*Eyes/Cutie marks: applique with Kona cotton solids and satin stitching
*Size: Approx 16″ tall, 19″ long
*She has my initials satin stitched into the bottom of her front left hoof

She was extremely fun to make! π And I was much faster this time round, it took me about 3 nights to make her from scratch. It was my first time appliqueing straight onto her head pattern so I think I can improve on that for my next project :3

Thank you so very much! π I have a few in mind for my collection – esp Fluttershy, AJ, Trixie, Lyra Heartstrings, Cherilee and Octavia! π I’m glad you like my signature! I couldn’t make it complicated because I have to manually satin stitch it in :< if I had an embroidery machine, I'd put my real signature in! hehe
