It’s currently winter over here in New Zealand, and some days it can get pretty chilly. Therefore, I thought my little Fluttershy plushie from navkaze would appreciate a set of winter gear to keep her little hooves warm (esp at night!). Her little friend, Princess Cadance (best foalsitter!), was coming to join the herd (all the way from Germany!) and so I thought it’d be cute to ask navkaze to kindly make Fluttershy some stripey scarf and socks! 😀

Well, Foalsitter Princess Cadance arrived today! 😀 YAY! And she brought Fluttershy’s clothes too!!! Here are the pics! Both ponies are by the super talented and extremely friendly navkaze!  (sorry, my budget smartphone camera has a hard time capturing purples (looks blue in the photos) as well as teals/turquoises (looks blue :<) so the purples in Cadance’s mane/tail/accessories and the teals/turquoises in Fluttershy’s eyes/socks look off).

I love how the blue hair/tail ties both have snap-on buttons 😀 it’s a nice touch!

Little Fluttershy was very happy with her new winter gear :3 and she’s also extremely happy to meet her new friend! 😀

Now for the specifics – Princess Cadance is made completely of high quality buttery soft minky (and yes – it’s of the “touch all day, every day” minky range) with tidy & precise machine embroidered details (don’t you just love that cutie mark?!). She is smaller than most of my ponies standing at approximately 11″ tall to the top of her horn (awww look at that qoot likkle horn) and she is just the most adorable thing! 😀 Her likkle hooves are also filled with poly pellets so she can stand up all on her own! :D. And she’s so soft – I wish I could just squeeze her to death! but I can’t because she might just literally die!

Well – to be honest, it’s really all in my head/my own paranoia – navkaze’s ponies are actually very well made/sturdy, everything is neat/precise/organized and you can easily tell that she’s extremely skilled in the art of sewing/plushie making. Even her handwriting’s insanely neat!

Anyway! I LOVE HER! I know I say this about all my pony plushies but I’m telling the truth – I actually do LOVE all my pony plushies :3 (some more than others though :|) they make me so happy when I come back home from a busy and long day at work, and they are especially beautiful and colourful when I open the blinds in the morning to let in the morning daylight! It’s like watching the sunrise for me!
