So this is the 2nd pony plushie I received today 😀 (along with my crystal pony AJ – read about her here!) – it’s Rainbow Dash from Burzurk! She’s extremely happy to be reunited with the lovely Rarity plushie also from Burzurk!

Don’t they look so cute and cuddly?! I was lucky enough to win Burzurk’s Rainbow Dash from Ebay :3 without having to lose an arm or a leg during the bidding war :D.

What I love about Burzurk’s ponies are they are SO BIG, SO STURDY and YET SO SOFT AND CUDDLY! They are plushies in the true sense 😀 they really dwarf some of my other ponies :< (my husband constantly likes to poke fun at the smaller ones XD). Her ponies are also so expressive and full of life!
Now for the specifics – Rainbow Dash stands very tall and proud at 18″ tall and is crafted from soft “touch me all day, everyday” minky :D. Her details are beautifully embroidered (again, precise, clean, no loose threads/loops) and Burzurk’s pretty & artistic signature is embroidered (in pink!) on the bottom of her left front hoof!

I reckon this is a lovely touch :3 I love it when artists leave their mark on their work 😀 It’s a double bonus when the mark is pretty like Burzurk’s signature :3
Rainbow Dash stands very sturdily on her four hooves and her legs are quite meaty – so good to squeeze! hehe :3 As I stated before, she is BIG, SOFT and CUDDLY – I wish I could cuddle her all day XD but I don’t want to wrinkle her up and litter my hair all over her :3 and sometimes my clothes have random food stains from Melody hehe, so I have to be extra careful when handling my precious ponies 😀 man, it must be the worst possible thing to spill soup/drinks on pony plushies :< what would one do if that ever happens?!
The other thing I want to mention about Burzurk is, for the size and quality of her ponies, her prices are on the low side. This is mainly because she’s still a “hidden gem” and fairly new to the pony plushie world. But, this should all change soon after she completes some commission cycles! So be sure to get in quick!
Actually, I have a confession to make. I have a conspiracy – and that is to slowly recruit more pony plushies from Burzurk so I can secretly build a huge army of Burzurk ponies to display on my shelves! To make this work, I’ll have to hog her commission spots every single time she opens up her commissions – haha, jokes – I’m not that evil! Burzurk’s commissions are actually open at the moment (only for 48 hours) and there are only 5 slots available. She’ll select slot winners based on interest/complexity of design etc – make sure you check her out here if you are interested! Be warned though, her standard ponies are rather large and they are not for the faint hearted hehe ;).

Just so you know, if you ever get a stain on them, use this soap:http://www.chicagoairbrushsupply.com/sppisobrcl4o.html
It’s a artist brush cleaner, meant to remove paint stains from brushes and prevent old colors from mixing with new paint. I used it once on some minky about a year ago, and it came off perfectly. Once you get the soap out well and let the fabric dry, a light brushing should get the knap back to its original state.

oh wow, thank you so much for letting me know Sophie! 😀 I must get myself some! I had an explosive hard-boiled egg incident a few weeks ago and some of the yolk went on some of my ponies >.< luckily I was able to brush them off 😐 now I vow to never eat eggs near the ponies XD

Wow, it’s so awesome that you could find this great up and coming plushie maker – you’re such a trendsetter haha 🙂 Also, I understand what you mean about being careful about cuddling with plushies haha – I cook quite a bit, and I’m so scared about getting like residual cooking oil or something on my poor Rilakkumas ahhh that would be the worst T^T

Anyway, I was saying – thank you! and yes, I know what you mean completely, the reason why I “display” them is because I’m paranoid about getting dirty stuff on them, and I have 3 dogs so you can imagine the amount of dog hair floating around in the air. The worst is food/oil. When I have guests over they always compulsively feel the need to touch my collections. I always ask them to wash their hands first (I wash my own hands before handling them too!) – I need to start putting a sign up that says "Please Don't Touch" – but I'm pretty sure that's just going to make people want to touch them secretly even more….. -.-

Ahaha thank you so much! Yea, all my commissions seem to be coming in at the same time! :3 now I don’t have anymore in transit. And yes! I did change my background indeed! Hehe, I wanted some pink sakura blossoms and then I remembered I had the pic of mardelia which i could use! 😀
