These 2 beautiful ponies arrived today along with the gorgeous Modelshy! They are both crafted by the talented and incredibly nice Wild-Hearts (Alice!). These two were both impulse buys, I saw them on Deviant Art and they were just way to cute to pass up. As you might know, I’m a huge fan of huge ponies – so I was extremely excited and elated when I impatiently tore open the MASSIVE cardboard box and saw how HUGE these two cuties were! They’re so big that they could barely fit on my display shelves! I really should take a pic with them some time to give you an idea of sizing π must remember to do that some time in the daytime when the lighting’s good π
Here are the pics! I’ll start with Fluttershy!
And Pinkie Pie!!!
AwwwwwWWWWWwwwwwww!Β Pinkie Pie came with her moustache! SO PREEEEEECIOOOOOUUUUUUSSSS! *faints from too much adorableness*
I love how both Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy look extremely cute from all angles!
I’m so happy with both of them and they are so soft and cuddly! I’m glad I decided to adopt them :3 Alice is amazingly talented! And she’s super nice too! I initially expressed interest to adopt a different Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy from her, and she put them on hold for me, but then I saw these 2 beauties and asked to change to these ones instead (sorry for the trouble >.<) and she was so understanding and accommodating about it! π
Now for the specifics, Fluttershy stands tall at approximately 17 inches and Pinkie Pie at 18 inches. They are both made from luxuriously soft and cuddly “touch me all day, every day” minky with machine embroidered details (I wish I could cuddle them all day! XD but I’m afraid of damaging them :<). As aforementioned, I’m totally in love with how cute they look from all angles, and I love how Fluttershy’s mane reaches her show accurate length (I’ve noticed that the mane for most Fluttershy plushies are too short >.<). Both ponies emanate their personality accurately with their eyes – especially Pinkie Pie – she looks a little happy-crazy (in a cute Pinkie Pie way of course) haha! Workmanship is neat with straight stitching and no loose threads. Stuffing is perfect :3 smooth, soft and cuddly like a big marshmallow – but not too soft that they wrinkle unsightfully. And her pricing is surprisingly reasonable and affordable (I’m still in awe of how awesome and big these beauties are).
Alice doesn’t normally take commissions (again, I have to stress how amazingly kind she was to accept my request for a Fluttershy) I wish Alice will keep making more ponies because hers are top-notch and I would love to adopt more from her! Her ponies are not just HUGE, soft and cuddly – but they also look extremely cute from all angles (I am in so much love with her head pattern <3) and are (as my husband puts it) “aesthetically pleasing” (he’s also a huge fan of big ponies, but according to him – not many big ponies are as “aesthetically pleasing” as these two)
I’m quickly and desperately running out of space for big ponies :< here’s a quick collection update pic of my current pony situation… I really need an entire room dedicated to my ponies XD my husband’s telling me that I need to sell some of my smaller ponies :<
ANYWAY! I could ramble all day about how wonderful these ponies are and how wonderful Alice is and how I wish I could give her a massive hug for making such beautifully cute ponies for me – but I really have to seize the night-time (when baby’s asleep!) to sew! π π (I’ve been testing out my new pony pattern and it’s going very well! I can’t wait to share WIP pics with all of you!!!!) so farewell for now!!!!
