Oh wow, I’ve had this plushie for a while now, but never got the chance to blog about her (I’m addicted to sewing plushies, so any time I have to myself I spend it sewing >.<)!  She's by the extremely talented and popular plushie artist – agatrix!  agatrix is the sweetest person ever :3 I really enjoyed working with her <3.

When I first started collecting pony plushies about half a year ago, I spammed a lot of artists on DA about commissions and many never replied to me :< but agatrix always replied and was always friendly. She placed me on her waiting list (which was 4 months long!!!!!) and it was finally my turn in September! YAY! I chose to commission one of my favourite ponies in one of my favourite outfits for her – Camping Outfit Rarity!

So here is Camping Rarity plushified!!!! I specifically requested for Rarity’s mane/tail to be two-toned because I think she looks prettier that way.

If you take a look at agatrix’s DA gallery, you’d be able to see that she’s experienced in the art of pony costumes! And it definitely shows in this plushie, the outfit is neatly made, fits Rarity well and is easy to remove/put back on!

Now for some specifics! Camping Rarity stands approximately 18″ tall and is made entirely from cuddly “touch me all day, every day” minky. Her details are machine embroidered and she’s stuffed pretty firmly. She has wire in her hair to give it structure. As I’ve already mentioned, her costume is very well made – I believe one of the best pony outfits I own so far ;). The price was extremely reasonable, agatrix’s ponies are on the cheaper end of the spectrum, but she is extremely popular so she has a pretty long waiting list.

I feel so lucky to be able to own a pony from agatrix 🙂 thank you so much agatrix for giving me this opportunity!!!!
