Autumn Orchid is an OC pony I’d adopted from the lovely xwhitedreamsx. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her (all that gorgeous pink!!! ^o^) and knew I just had to plush her! :3
Honestly though… I’m not sure where to start. This plushie took sooooo long to make >.< like, her hair took waaaaay longer than Mardelia’s. Now I’m in serious need of a “complex-mane-break”.
Her airbrushing took a lot longer than expected (probably because I’m still really new at it), and those little flowers… omg… those flowers. They might look small and “insignificant” but they took me a whole day to sew (and were beyond frustrating to work on).
However, despite all the time, effort and frustration involved, I really enjoyed making Autumn. I got to experiment with a lot of new things including:
1) new alicorn/princess body pattern ^o^ (I chose to plush Autumn’s head using my mare head pattern since that’s what she had in her original reference pic)
2) airbrushing to create gradients!
3) flowers!!
I also managed to use 2 new shannon minky colours – scarlet and banana in her flowers and scarf! ^o^
And the best part is, I get to keep her! 😉 And she’s so beautiful and special to look at! ^-^ I’m a very proud owner!!
Finally, I have to give credit to my hubbie, who helped me with the airbrushing process/cleaning etc. Without his support, I probably would not have started airbrushing… so THANK YOU SO MUCH! :3

Details:
*Materials: cuddle 3 minky by Shannon Fabrics, minky baby fabric
*Minky colours: tan, blush, coral (shannon), coral (MBF), banana, scarlet, gradients in hair/legs/scarf by airbrushing
*Stuffing: premium polyester fiberfill, quilt batting, craft foam and poly pellets in hooves
*Thread: gutermann polyester sew-all thread, madeira polyneon embroidery thread
*Eyes/Cutie marks: machine embroidered
*Size: Approx 19″ tall, 18″ long
*She has my signature embroidered into the bottom of her front right hoof
For my next project, I plan to sew Princess Cadence (for myself), Princess Luna (for sale) (will need to design my alicorn/princess head pattern first) and Ocean Lotus (Autumn’s little sis who also has gradients!). I’ll also be casually working on a foalsitter Cadence as a trade with a special DA friend 😛

It is!! We are finally on summer break (the last long summer break of my life haha), but still have some summer work like research and random assignments – not too bad though! Kinda scared about year 2 since all of the older students say it’s the hardest – just trying to enjoy the summer while I can! I hope you are also doing well 🙂

Is there any chance you could make my oc? She has blonde main and tail with similar highlights as you , but going from blue to purple to pink. She has a light pink body with a spiked wrist band and her cutiemark is an camera on flash.Her eyes are a beautiful lime green. Her maine is flowy and she has ebony eye shadow on.Her name is Plumeria ( a beautiful white and yellow flower , the flower she usally wears in her maine but its optional and she is ponysona of me.Ill pay you up to 600$ For her but preferbaly less maybe around 400. Or i could sew you a pony in return. Please feel free to say no , this is all just fun and games and i would be more than happy to send you a free 200 dollars to sponser you. Thanks 🙂
