I’m so proud to share with you all my Princess Cadence plushie! ^^ Princess Cadence is my favourite princess from the show, so it was a given for her to be the first alicorn/princess I plush.

Because Cadence has a more feminine/petite snout compared to Celestia’s and Luna’s, I’ve designed the alicorn head pattern to reflect that. I’ve also decided to use the same pattern for Luna’s head (who is 60% complete), because I prefer it to her “manlier” show muzzle (no offense intended :P). I like having a good balance of show accuracy and aesthetics (my own personal aesthetics anyway x3).

All the curls in her hairs are 3D (not just top-stitched in). Her forelock took sooooo long to get right – mainly because I really wanted her hair to look good & make sense from all angles. That means matching and lining up all the different colours.

Her wings have been airbrushed to create that pretty purple gradient 😀 I’m very happy with how they’ve turned out! (I

All her accessories are completely removable. The crown and necklace have magnets in them. I wanted to make the shoes separately and removable (rather than appliqued straight on) since I wanted to re-create what she’d look in real life :). I’m super pleased with how they look on her, and I plan to do the same for Luna’s shoes.

Anyway – Cadence turned out to be a lot of work, and she took waaaaaay longer than I had expected, but I reckon all the time & effort I’d spent on her was totally worth it! ^^

Sooooo…. I’m going to try and finish Luna soon 🙂 she should be a lot more straightforward compared to Cadence (hopefully T-T). I’m keeping Cadence for myself, but I’ll be selling this first Luna I make on Ebay. I’ve also started plushing foalsitter Cadence as part of my trade with an awesome DA friend (and soon, I’ll be plushing my “Design-An-OC-For-Me” contest prize too! ^^ but first I need to get over the hurdle of choosing the winners T-T you guys submitted waaaaay too many awesome entries!! 😛 I’m going to look at all of them tomorrow and have a long and hard think)
