Update: to answer the many questions about the “feel” of the airbrushed areas, mostly it is still nice, smooth and soft. The extremely light blue/cyan extremities required additional layers so are slightly rougher to touch, but still soft π (I reckon I could create the same effect with less layers next time ^^).
OMG! AT LOOOOOOOOOONG LAST! Novalis is FINALLY COMPLETE! ^^
Novalis is the “Design-An-OC-For-Me” contest winner :iconlanmana:’s prize! π
He’s such an epic OC and I’m so happy and honoured I got to plush him for :iconlanmana:. He was very airbrush intensive and taught me a lot about airbrushing light colours on dark fabrics. I used shannon midnight blue for his hair and shannon navy for his body – so everything else you see on him has been airbrushed on. I would also like to credit my wonderful husband who helped me develop the technique of airbrushing light on dark/support/clean up process etc
His armour is fully removable via snap fasteners π
Novalis was definitely a lot of work, but he was sooooo worth it! He’s such an eye candy to look at ^.^ and I’ve learnt so much from working on him.
Thank you :iconlanmana: for allowing me to plush your beautiful OC, and I hope you like him as much as I do!! (I love him)
