Quickstitch Plushie (commission)

Hurray! Quickstitch has been plushified! 😉 I really enjoyed working on this stallion, he has such a simple, yet wonderfully effective design!

Quickstitch plushie is a commission for hellonall

I did a few special things for him:

1) His feathered hooves are 3D. This can be a little hard to appreciate from these pics, but basically his white fur is actually overlying and on top of the brown hooves minky underneath. It’s my first time trying something like this (rather than just applique-ing straight on) and I really like the end result. It took forever though…. it ate up at least 2 of my sewing sessions.

2) His cutie marks have white gradients in them ^^ Hope you can see them in the pics! I used my airbrush paints for those 😉

3) His accessories are fully removable! He has magnets in his head/hat, and a stud press in his tail tie thing.

Anyway, I’m really happy with this plushie, he’s just so adorable and translates so beautifully as a plush! Thank you so much hellonall for commissioning me! You have been so lovely to work with! 😉

*Materials: cuddle 3 minky by Shannon Fabrics, minky baby fabric
*Minky colours: white, rust, tiffany, brown
*Stuffing: premium polyester fiberfill, quilt batting, craft foam, and poly pellets in hooves
*Thread: gutermann polyester sew-all thread, madeira polyneon embroidery thread
*Eyes/Cutie marks: machine embroidered + airbrush paints
*Size: Approx 19″ tall, 13″ long
*He has my signature embroidered into the bottom of his front left hoof
*Others: Magnetised hat, stud press in tail tie

I'll be working on my third project – Beauty Brass – next! And also try and answer all notes/messages/comments ^^" (and play some more Sims 4 X'D)
