I’m baaaaaaaaack guys!  ^____^ and what a wonderful time of the year to make my return :3

I exploited my long Easter weekend to finish off Foalsitter Cadence – she’s a trade for my lovely friend CoffeeCupPup.  In return, she designed Blush – a custom Feathertail – for me (as Mardelia’s pet) and will also be plushing her for me!  I’ve seen some awesome WIP pics already and I’m super excited!!!

I started working on Foalsitter Cadence aaaaaaages ago (nearly a year ago?!  O.o) and took numerous breaks in between so it’s such a huge relief to have her all done now!!  I find it a lot harder to get back on track when I leave projects in their WIP state for too long ^^” the longer I leave them, the harder it is to get back.

Anyway – less on my struggles and more on the plush!  CoffeeCupPup requested airbrushed alicorn wings for little Cadence so that’s why I’ve made them that way 😛 😛 and her curls are 3D.  Looking at her reference pics, her curls look like they overlap a little to the dominant side so I mirrored that.  I’ve also made her hair bands removable via button studs (not sure why anyone would want to take them off, but it just felt more natural to me that way xD).  I’ve angled her forelock in a way so a sliver of yellow is visible from her dominant side.

*Stuffing: premium polyester fiberfill, quilt batting, craft foam and poly pellets in hooves
*Thread: gutermann polyester sew-all thread, madeira polyneon embroidery thread
*Eyes/Cutie marks: machine embroidered
*Others: press studs in accessories, wire in wings
*Size: Approx 16″ tall, 18″ long
*She has my signature embroidered into the bottom of her front left hoof

I’m also making some Scootaloos to 1) keep for myself (I need one to complete my CMC set!) and 2) to sell on Ebay.  Then after that – I’m not too sure what I want to do.  I’ve been receiving several pretty interesting commission requests over the last couple of months which I’d be keen to plush some time, so maybe I’ll open my commissions again…. or maybe I’ll just plush for Ebay *shrug*
