She’s my first plush after a lengthy & unexpected hiatus that spanned over several months. I’m trying to get back into sewing more, but with everything that’s going on right now, that is proving to be quite a feat. I’m lucky if I get an hour to sew most days… so apologies for the inactivity… and the lack of replies… and the lack of comments etc
Anyway, enough about me – let’s talk about Lene! I had the most fun plushing her forelock! I’m pretty happy with how I created her side swept hair, and it allowed me to experiment with a few new techniques that I’d be excited to utilize again in the future. Her hair is black so it may be hard to fully appreciate what I did (unless you see her in person!!! ;))
She wears a necklace that is fully removable via magnets. She is also showcasing my new and improved pony ears that I used with my last plush – Blossom Breeze :)!
Now I will be moving onto my next project. I’ve received many requests for Countess Coloratura in the past – both the spectacle version, as well as the piano version. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to make her… but something’s always come up that stopped me from accepting those projects… …. until now! And so I’m super excited to announce that I will be plushing the Countess in her piano version next! That should keep me busy for a while!
By the way, I do try and check/reply to messages/comments on a 1-2 weekly basis… so please keep leaving them! I love to read them (when I have some quiet time to!).
